Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) wants to hear from residents in Bevan Close and Maryland Avenue, Huntingdon, for a pilot integrating play and nature.

The community of Bevan Close and Maryland Avenue is invited to attend an engagement session on 10 April, 2024, from 10am to 12pm at the Bevan Close play area.

Hosted by the Open Spaces and Biodiversity for All teams at HDC, the session and pilot scheme are an opportunity to work with residents to see how play and nature can be connected.

During the engagement session, attendees will have the opportunity to share their ideas, preferences, and suggestions for integrating nature into the current play areas. Whether it's improving accessibility, or introducing additional planting and green infrastructure, all feedback will be carefully considered.

Residents who are unable to attend the engagement session in person are invited to provide feedback via email to the Open Spaces team: OpenSpaces@huntingdonshire.gov.uk
