Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) is consulting on proposed revisions to the Local Validation Requirements. The local validation list set out the information which is to be required in support of applications.

It is recommended to review local requirements at least every two years.

How to get involved

Last December HDC launched the Local List Validation Requirements consultation.

Unfortunately, due to a technical error, some of the data captured was lost. To ensure that the results are reflective of the feedback from residents, a decision has been made to run the consultation again.

If you have previously commented please submit your comments again in the new survey.

  • Please use the Local Validation Summary that contains the requirements for each planning application.

  • In the summary, you will also find the links to the checklists for each planning application. You can also find all the checklists below.

  • Please use the summary and checklists to ensure that you have met all the local requirements.

  • Please share your thoughts in this survey.

When to get involved

Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey.

The consultation period is for 6 weeks from 16 February 2024 until 31 March 2024.

What happens next?

We will consider all comments received by Sunday 31 March 2024 and report the result of the consultation to the Development Management Committee with recommendations for members approval. The report will be published on our website before the Planning Committee meeting in April 2024.

Once approved by the Development Management Committee, the revised requirements will apply to all applications for permission within HDC statutory Planning Service and will replace the existing checklists found on the website.
