Bins & Waste

Garden Waste Collections

On 31 March 2024, the existing FREE garden bin service comes to an end, and has been replaced with a new garden waste subscription service.

If you have not paid for the NEW service your garden waste bin will NOT be emptied from 1 April and cannot be reported as a missed collection. Find out more information or to sign up to the new garden waste subscription service

If your subscription sticker has not arrived by 1 April, don’t worry you can still put your bin out for collection as the crews have details of all the subscribers and your bin will be collected.

This is our A-Z guide to help you recycle, reuse or dispose of different kinds of rubbish and other materials.

You can browse the list or search for a specific item by typing it into the Search box below. If you can't find an item, please email us at wasteminimisation@huntingdonshire.gov.uk - we will let you know how to dispose of it and add the item to the list.

View plastic resin codes before disposal of plastics.
