It’s not too late for small community-run organisations to submit their applications to apply for a share of a Community Chest Grant Funding Scheme run by Huntingdonshire District Council.

This year’s Community Chest fund totals £60,000, and is specifically targeted at small organisations who wish to deliver projects or initiatives that will benefit the local community. Applications are invited from organisations or groups for an award of up to £2,500 to contribute towards, or deliver, a project in any area of Huntingdonshire.

For your project to be considered, view the eligibility criteria and complete and submit the application form.

Completed applications must be submitted by 12 noon on Monday 6 August 2018.

Cllr Jonathan Gray, Executive Councillor for Resources, said: "The Community Chest has been set up to allow those small but important projects which might otherwise go unfunded to receive some financial support. We have set aside £60,000 to provide help to small groups in Huntingdonshire and we urge any organisation to get their application in soon."
