Coach

Sports clubs rely heavily on the availability and input of sports coaches, therefore we are committed to helping coaches with personal development.

We offer support and advice to both existing coaches and those that want to get involved in coaching.

The County Sports Partnership, Living Sport, runs a range of courses for anyone involved in sport including coaches, officials and administrators. See the Living Sport website for information about training courses such as first aid, child protection, coaching disabled performers and many more.

If you are interested in becoming a coach, looking for experience or want advice on how to become a coach or apply for funding, please contact the One Leisure Active Lifestyles team for further information.

Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to the running of many of our programmes, such as the disability sports festivals and health walks. Without volunteers many clubs and events would not exist.

We are always looking to recruit new volunteers who have a range of experience and skills. There are many different roles that volunteers can play such as:

  • administration

  • coaching

  • leading

  • supporting

  • officiating

  • fundraising.
