During the summer holidays the full size synthetic pitch facility at St Neots Leisure Centre has been resurfaced and improved providing the best football and hockey playing surface in the District.

The outdoor all weather pitch can be used as a competition regulation pitch or split into three sections by dividing nets so three games of 7-a-side can take place at the same time.  All pitches are floodlit as teams can use the facility until 10.30pm.

The redevelopment cost over £100,000 and was funded by Huntingdonshire District Council as part of its regular capital investment into leisure facilities.  In 2008, St Neots Leisure Centre has received over £1 million in investment to ensure the centre continues to provide excellent facilities for the local community.

The new seven-a-side pitches can be hired for from £15 per hour.  Clubs who are affiliated with the FA can also receive a VAT reduction when they make 10 week block bookings.
