Music lovers throughout Huntingdonshire are in for a treat over the next twelve weeks, as the ever-popular Riverside Music season makes a welcome return for the summer months.

Promoted by Huntingdonshire District Council Arts Service, in association with Huntingdon, St Neots, St Ives and Ramsey Town Councils, these free outdoor concerts have proved to be a great hit with residents and visitors alike since they began, with many families returning every week of the season.

This year’s programme includes a variety of music from traditional brass and silver bands to jazz and pop, and is sure to offer something for everyone.  As well as local groups such as the Huntingdonshire Concert Band, St Neots Big Band and Somersham Town Band, talented ensembles are also coming from across the country.

The season begins on Sunday 8th June, and the free concerts take place in St Ives (The Waits) and Ramsey (Abbey Green) until 27th July, and Huntingdon (Riverside Park) and St Neots (Riverside Park) until 24th August. The concerts run from 2.30-4.30pm and are free!

The full programme is available free of charge from local libraries, Leisure Centres and shops, from the Arts Service  on 01480 388248, or it can also be downloaded from the HDC website
