Baffled by beetles, bugs and butterflies and want to know more?  Following on from the success of ‘Birds Basics’, The Friends of Paxton Pits Nature Reserve are running a half day course, all about insects, jointly with the Wildlife Trust at Paxton Pits Nature Reserve.  The event is being held on Sunday 15th June, 10.00am until 1.00pm.

“This is an opportunity to discover the amazing families of insects that make Paxton Pits their home” said Jim Stevenson, Huntingdonshire District Council Senior Ranger.  “They are a fascinating group with such incredible variety in the way they look, move and find and eat their food.  This course will unravel some of the mystery about insects and allow you to discover how important they are to us too.”

Bugs Basics is suitable for ages 13+ and under 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.  The places are £6 per person and are limited.  Please telephone 01480 451568 to book your place.
