Looking for some fun during the school holidays?  Then look no further.  Come and join the Rangers at Hinchingbrooke Country Park for a fun packed session making dens in the woods.

Suitable for young people aged between 8 and 11 years old, sessions of 2.5 hours will be taking place on Thursday 24th July and Tuesday 19th August, from 10am to 12.30pm or 1.30pm to 4pm.  More sessions have been included this year due to the popularity of this hands on activity!

Everyone will be involved in building a den in the woods, if of course they can find the ideal location and suitable materials.  “Will the den pass the water test? Have you thought about the structure and how to make it weatherproof?” asked Countryside Services Ranger, David Robinson.  “By the end of the day you will have made some new friends and learnt some new skills – all whilst having fun.”
