Anyone who needs to get in touch with Huntingdonshire District Council whether it is to notify a change of address or report potential benefit fraud can do so more easily now, thanks to a new development on its website.
By clicking on the link on the right, customers are taken to a page from which they can access forms which they can fill in to tell the council that they have changed their address, or notify it of matters included noise nuisance, abandoned vehicles, damage to council property or to report missed refuse collections.
The page also has links to other organisations, enabling them to report a minor crime or get in touch with the DVLA.
Councillor Mike Simpson, executive councillor for information technology, said: “A lot of people now wish to contact us via our website and we are always looking for ways we can improve the service we offer. We listen to suggestions put to us by users, including our own Members. This was an idea of one of our Members.
“By creating this feature people can now find these forms much more quickly than previously.”
