Do you need to book some accommodation for family or friends? Or looking for some great days out in Huntingdonshire? Then pick up a copy of the new Huntingdonshire Accommodation & Visitor Guide 2008.
Launched recently by Huntingdonshire District Council’s Communications and Marketing team, the 44 page guide includes information on Huntingdonshire’s heritage, riverside, countryside, cycling & walking, plus lots of information on market days and local events. There is also a section listing places to stay, and many attractions in our area.
The guide encourages people to visit the area whilst still offering information that is useful to residents, especially if you are looking for great days out which are an easy drive from home.
Andrew Hansard, Executive Councillor for Resources and Policy said ‘This is a fantastic new guide, full of interesting information about our district, including attractions and places to stay. I am proud to live in such a beautiful area, and I believe that this guide will inspire many people to visit, and also encourage residents to visit the attractions that are on their doorstep.’
As well as being distributed to all of the 800 Tourist Information Centres across the UK, it is
available throughout the district, including St Neots Tourist Information Centre, Huntingdonshire District Council’s Customer Service Centre in St Mary’s St, as well as local libraries. You can also download a copy from the District Council's website using the link on the right, or order a copy by telephoning the Call Centre on 01480 388588.
