Are you feeling creative? Would you like to make your own Christmas cards and decorations? If so, Paxton Pits Nature Reserve has the event for you. On Monday 22 December between 10.30am and 3.30pm visitors can have a go at making special Christmas crafts.
Using glitter, glue, last years wrapping paper, old Christmas cards and other crafty materials, rangers and volunteers from Huntingdonshire District Council’s Countryside Service will be showing children and adults how to create their own decorations and cards with that personal touch.
Kirsty Drew, a ranger at the country park said: “It is always fun to make things, and at Christmas time you can add that special touch to your decorations around your home and make cards for your family and friends. We hope that you will come along to this drop in session and bring your own ideas with you too.”
The session is free to attend but a small charge will be made for the materials that you use. Children aged 4 plus must be accompanied by an adult. For more information please telephone Paxton Pits Nature Reserve on (01480) 406795.
