The new Art Attack! brochure is now available with details of the popular arts and crafts workshops for children aged 8-13 years which run during half term, between 22nd and 26th October, at venues across the district.
The day-long workshops are led by professional artists and bookings are limited to 12 children, so there is plenty of individual attention for each child. In October’s workshops the children can make spooky glow-in- the-dark HALLOWEEN MOBILES, design and screenprint brilliant TRICK OR TREAT BAGS to carry sweets and treats on Halloween, enjoy a high-energy DANCE DAY based on street dance styles, or make a Tardis moneybox and more with SONIC SCREWDRIVERS, which now only has places available in Ramsey. All materials are provided, and children can take their masterpieces home with them.
The Art Attack! brochure is available from libraries and local leisure centres, can be downloaded using the link on the right, or can be sent by post on request. More details on the artists can also be found on the website.
Art Attack! days run from 10am to 4pm, cost £12.50 per day and take place in Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots, Ramsey and Yaxley. They are organised by Huntingdonshire Arts, part of the Environmental & Community Health team at Huntingdonshire District Council.
Telephone bookings by credit or debit card can be made on 01480 388248.
