The community nursery in Godmanchester is the proud owner of two giant pumpkins. The pair, grown by volunteers at the nursery run by Huntingdonshire District Council weighed in at 73 kilos.

The council’s old depot in Godmanchester closed its gates for the final time last week. The council’s fleet of 65 vehicles left the site in the early hours of the morning to go out about their usual business but at the end of the day the vehicles drove to their new home, Eastfield House in Latham road, Huntingdon.
