St Ivo Leisure Centre in conjunction with JPS Sound and Light in St Ives is running an exciting new DJ mixing and sampling workshop during the Easter school holidays.

The workshop will be led by experienced DJ Roger Wilson and all equipment is supplied by JPS Sound and Light.  All dance music tastes are welcome so you can bring your own music or use the music supplied.

As well as learning how to mix using vinyl and CDs you will also discover computer editing and video mixing.  At the end of the session you can take away your mix as an MP3 download on CD.

The workshop is open to ages 12 – 16 years and takes place on Thursday 5 April 2007.  There are two different three-hour sessions to choose from (10am – 1pm or 2pm – 5pm) and costs just £20 per session.
