Residents of Huntingdonshire are being offered a free personalised home energy report to help them take a step towards saving energy and reducing climate changing carbon dioxide emissions. Huntingdonshire District Council has teamed up with the Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre Anglia to provide this service.
Huntingdonshire residents who complete a home energy questionnaire will receive a free personalised and tailored report showing ways to cut down their own home energy use.
Chris Jablonski Huntingdonshire District Councils Environment Team Leader said, “This is a great opportunity for Huntingdonshire residents to learn about how to use energy more efficiently in their homes. Saving energy helps reduce fuel bills and climate changing carbon dioxide emissions. I encourage all Huntingdonshire households to return their questionnaires and find out more about reducing their home energy consumption.”
Ashley Baxter, Director of the Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre Anglia, said, “There are simple and easy steps you can take to make your home more energy efficient as well as saving up to £300 off your energy bill and helping the environment too. A free home energy report should be the first step you take and will help you to identify ways to make your home as energy efficient as it can be.”
Many Huntingdonshire residents will receive their free home energy check questionnaires in the post.
