Come along and join in all the fun of exploring the wildlife and searching out mini beasts with the rangers at Coneygear Park, Huntingdon on 24 June.
The wildlife sessions are being held at 10am, 11am and noon and are being held to build a picture of the wildlife on the park following the re-development of the site.
Brian Gardner, Conegyear Park Ranger said, “The sessions will be a good opportunity for young people to get up close to creepy crawlies of all types and to help with the identification and recording of their finds”.
The aim of the event is to encourage young people to take a greater interest in wildlife in urban areas.
If you would like to join in on the fun all you have to do is turn up at the park and meet by the ranger’s hut. You will need to dress for the weather and bring with you sun screen and hat or waterproofs depending on the day. Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult.
