On Sunday 24 June 2007, the leisure centres in St Ives, Huntingdon, St Neots, Ramsey and Sawtry invite everyone to enjoy a BIG DAY OUT with FREE sports and fun activities for all of the family. 

From 10 am to 4 pm there are FREE sports activities such as swimming, giant inflatable games, badminton, table tennis, squash, football, trampolining, fitness classes and martial arts tasters.

To keep children entertained all day there will be performing magicians, face painting, bouncy castles, kids holiday club taster sessions and colouring competitions.

St Ivo Outdoor Complex will be continuing the fun from 4 pm to 6 pm with a bouncy castle, archery tasters and a sizzling barbeque.

The day is also a great way to save money for anyone planning on joining the gym or organising a children’s birthday party.

The state of the art Impressions fitness suites are offering a FREE Getting Started induction when visitors take out an annual membership or £25 if they take out a monthly membership.

There is a wide range of swimming pool and sports party packages to choose from.  If visitors book a party on the day they will receive a 10% discount.

This year the Leisure Centres will be raising money with a charity raffle and all funds will go to the Starlight Children’s Foundation whose aim is to grant wishes for seriously ill children and provide hospital entertainment to take their mind off their illness.
