Despite the weather the holiday period for young people across the district has begun, along with the summer holiday activity programme run by the leisure development team at Huntingdonshire District Council.

High numbers attended the free activity roadshows in Bluntisham, Brampton, Great Paxton and Brington and golf and tennis courses have also been running.

There are plenty more activities planned for the summer including sailing, rowing, canoeing, and athletics for 12 to 16 year olds, plus many more courses. Also free activity roadshows are taking place every afternoon of the school holidays at various venues across the district, as well as new free twilight multi sport sessions starting in Buckden, Brampton and Fenstanton.
