Fresh from their sell-out concert in Kings’ College Chapel recently, renowned ensemble Prime Brass are playing at Hinchingbrooke Performing Arts Centre on Friday (2nd March) at 7.30pm.
Cambridge-based Prime Brass are building a national reputation for excellent playing and entertaining performances, and their current CD “Blue Rondo” was chosen by Natalie Wheen from Classic FM as one of her favourites from 2006.
Their lively programme for Friday features traditional brass favourites alongside evergreen songs and jazz classics. The concert would be ideal for anyone who loves the sounds of brass, particularly those learning to play a brass instrument. Prime Brass, conducted by self-confessed showman Matthew Dilley, are playing as an 11-piece ensemble, with trumpets, horn, trombones, tuba and percussion. Tickets are £8.50, £6.50 and £3 for children under 18.
