Next April Huntingdonshire District Council will adopt new national standard application forms for planning matters. Currently all local authorities have their own forms so the information contained within them, or requested from applicants may differ from area to area.
Under the new scheme – a government-led project – called 1 APP there will be a new standard application form, and new information requirements. The aim is to make the planning system clearer and more efficient for planning professionals and the public, and to save applicants time and effort in completing their applications.
Over the next month views are invited from all interested parties in a public consultation being carried out via our website. To access details of the new scheme and how to contribute your views follow the 1 App local information consultation link to the right of the screen.
The consultation runs from 20 December 2007 until 31 January 2008.
