Affordable homes in Brampton
Working in partnership with Huntingdonshire District Council, Metropolitan Housing Trust has provided three new affordable homes in Brampton, which were built by the developer Camstead Homes.
Steeple Court is located in the heart of Brampton, and alongside homes for sale the District Council secured land and provided funding to deliver three new affordable homes. These much-needed homes have been let through the ‘HomeLink’ scheme to people who were on the council’s housing register and in housing need.
Steve Plant, Head of Housing Services at the Council said: “We are very pleased to have facilitated the development of three new affordable homes, particularly since it is some considerable time since any new homes of this type have been provided in Brampton. We value our partnerships with house builders and housing associations, and I’m sure the new tenants will be very happy there.”
