Huntingdonshire is a paradise for walkers and cyclists. The scenery undulates through water meadows, river valleys and riverside parks.
There are miles of waymarked public footpaths and bridleways criss-cross through open countryside and nature reserves. Many link country parks to charming market towns and villages. Pause to enjoy a picnic in the fresh air, indulge in a cream tea or take a well earned rest at a welcoming pub.
Huntingdonshire's countryside is easily explored on two wheels. Quiet lanes and byways pass through a rural patchwork of greens, golds and blues. Relish life at a slower pace, noticing changes in the scenery from the Ouse Valley, to villages of thatch and timber to the peat black fens. There are only gentle hills creating open vistas stretching out to the horizon.
Why not enjoy a leisurely cycle around the miles of mainly traffic-free tracks skirting Grafham Water. Take some time to savour an ice cream treat, or leave two wheels to explore the nature reserve. You may also like to request our packs of cycle rides which are presented as two series of seven cycle rides.
