Huntingdonshire has a variety of animal attractions, which will interest children and adults of all ages.

Take a trip to Hamerton Zoo Park, where you can admire exotic animals housed in parkland. Gibbons, lemurs, marmosets, cheetahs, wolves, foxes, meerkats and wildcats can all be seen here.

Wood Green Animal Shelter, in Godmanchester, is one of Europe's leading animal rehoming centres and a great place to visit. Meet some of their resident animals including horses, donkeys, llamas, red deer and ferrets. There are also lots of dogs, cats and other animals waiting for loving homes.

Admire over 300 birds of prey at The Raptor Foundation in Woodhurst. Many of the residents were injured or abandoned. Stroll amongst nature's most endearing and stunning creatures: owls, hawks, falcons and parrots. Watch one of the daily flying displays or find sanctuary in the gardens.
