A light-hearted selection of music is promised from Simply Reeds for the first concert of this year’s Hinchingbrooke Spring Music Season.

Four top-class performers from Cambridge play music by Mozart, Debussy, William Boyce, Jerome Kern, Bartok, Gilbert & Sullivan, Eric Coates, Irving Berlin, Scott Joplin and more – played beautifully in arrangements for saxophone quartet or clarinet quartet.

Simply Reeds are:

Viv Halton (alto & tenor saxophones and clarinet)
Jon Halton (baritone saxophone and clarinet)
Claire Stevenson (alto saxophone and clarinet)
Graham Dolby (soprano & tenor saxophones and bass clarinet).

Hinchingbrooke Performing Arts Centre has comfortable tiered seating, plus seating on the flat if required, and is fully accessible to people with disabilities including a permanent induction loop.  There is plenty of free parking on site and a licensed bar is available for pre-concert and interval drinks and coffee.
