Duo Dorado – baroque violinist Hazel Brooks (last seen at Hinchingbrooke PAC playing with Fiori Musicali) and harpsichordist David Pollock - has been charming audiences all over the UK, including the Chichester Festivities, Newbury Spring Festival and Origins Early Music Festival in the Wirral, and abroad at the Barcelona Early Music Festival.
Passionate about the music of the baroque era, Duo Dorado concerts frequently elicit standing ovations. Their enthusiasm means that they always talk to the audience and often introduce the music with readings and anecdotes.
Tonight’s programme is a baroque musical feast with sumptuous sonatas, rich melodies and tantalising counterpoint from eighteenth-century Europe.
