This year’s Hinchingbrooke Spring Music got off to a flying start when Graffiti Classics packed the house and left our audience “dancing all the way home”!
Our next offering was Martin Wheatley’s Arcadians, who recreated the time when jazz was fun and, although stunningly virtuosic, never took itself too seriously. Great foot-tapping fun! Another sell-out concert!
The concert from the Calvert-Turner Duo in April was a delight. Rowena and Ellie charmed the audience and stunned them with their technical brilliance and beauty of tone.
Our final concert this year had virtuoso recorder player Pamela Thorby joining Fiori Musicali for a dazzling display of baroque chamber music from Antonio Vivaldi.
The season is now over, and we will shortly be sending a survey to our customers to help us plan for next year!
