HDC is a partner in an exciting county-wide project.
Vital Communities is a unique action research project, initially over 3 years and with the aim of conducting the study over a 15-year period.
Through a vibrant, innovative and inclusive programme of high-quality creative activities, the project aims to demonstrate the impact of the arts on individual and community development. The study will also investigate whether the arts have a positive impact on the aspirations, achievement and attitudes of the communities in which it is based.
Three Huntingdonshire schools are taking part: Ramsey Spinning Infants, and Samuel Pepys and Winhills Primary in St Neots, who are linked together for this project. Altogether, ten schools from across the county are involved.
