The Local Authority has a responsibility to licence riding establishments, dangerous wild animals, pet shops, zoos, kennels and catteries.

The Animal Welfare Officers may be able to give advice on many other animal aspects regarding animal welfare/nuisance or they could give contact details of appropriate agencies.
