The District Council’s Home Energy Team forms part of the wider ‘Environment Team’ based within Environmental Management Division.  The team promote home energy efficiency and grants to householders and local community groups through presentations, talks, road shows, home visits, telephone advice and local media.  The team also have information on new technologies such as micro-generation and renewables.
