Rural Paths

The District of Huntingdonshire benefits from having a wide variety of footpaths, bridleways and byways.

As the Highway and Surveying Authority, Cambridgeshire County Council are responsible for rural paths ( public footpaths, bridleways and byways).

Huntingdonshire District Council has a officer who is responsible for making of Public Rights of Way Orders under the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 ( i.e. the diversion, extinguishment or creation of public rights of way to enable planning permissions granted by this authority to take place)

The Ouse Valley Way is maintained by Huntingdonshire District Countryside services. More information about the Ouse Valley Way can be found using the link on the right.
