This Urban Design Framework and Masterplan examines the redevelopment opportunities on land to the west of St Mary’s Church, between High Street and Brook Street, St Neots. It presents the planning policy context for the comprehensive redevelopment of this area, which may involve the creation of a new mixed use development for this part of St Neots, together with improved car parking and pedestrian linkages.

Huntingdonshire District Council Cabinet has approved the document for consultation purposes.

The proposals will be on display on Friday 7th July 2006 between 2pm and 7pm at St Mary’s Church Hall, Brook Street. All are welcome to attend.

The complete document (St Mary’s Urban Village St Neots – Urban Design Framework and Masterplan) may be viewed on this website www.huntingdonshire.gov.uk,  and St Neots Town Council Offices and the Library. It will also be on show at the Exhibition.

Once representations have been considered and reported to Cabinet, it is intended to adopt the document as Interim Planning Guidance.
