The Council currently has three Overview and Scrutiny Panels, one to address issues relating to service delivery, the second to consider matters relating to service support and the third to deal with matters of a corporate nature and issues of major significance. The scope of the three Panels is set out below -

Service Delivery Panel

All issues relating to Environment and Transport, Leisure, Housing and Public Health and Operations.

Service Support Panel

All issues relating to Finance, Resources and Policy, Planning Strategy and Information and Technology.

Corporate and Strategic Framework Panel

Matters of a corporate nature, the Strategic and Financial Framework of the Council and major significance, including the Budget and Financial Strategy, Community Strategy, Corporate Plan and replacement office accommodation project.
