The Huntingdonshire Strategic Partnership is one of five Local Strategic Partnerships which have been set up based on each district within Cambridgeshire. The Partnership involves senior representatives from agencies including Cambridgeshire County Council, Huntingdonshire District Council, Huntingdonshire Primary Care Trust, Cambridgeshire Police, local businesses and voluntary sector organisations. These agencies provide important services to the public such as health care, community safety, transport, education, environmental protection, leisure, economic development and planning.
All these agencies have teamed up to work together more effectively to tackle the ‘big issues’ in the area and improve quality of life. They do this by ‘joining-up’ their activities to make the best use of resources and sharing knowledge and expertise.
The Huntingdonshire Strategic Partnership is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a Sustainable Community Strategy which sets out the way in which all these agencies will work together to make a difference. The Sustainable Community Strategy is currently under development and the Partnership's structure is being reviewed. The Strategy and details of the new structure will be published on this website once they have been approved. For further information, please contact Claire Sides on (01480) 388495.
