Southoe And Midloe

This parish on the north side of St. Neots, extends west from the River Great Ouse including the site of the former village of Boughton across the A1.  Southoe is grouped around its partly-Norman church which has one of the most highly-ornamented Norman doorways in the county, whilst further west amid the fields is Midloe, a group of cottages beside the 16th Century Grange.  The Southoe Bell situated on the A1 is a pub popular with those seeking a good quick meal.
