Perry
The Civil Parish of Perry, part of the ancient ecclesiastical parish of St. Andrews, Great Staughton, lies on the southern shore of Grafham Water and embraces the old twin hamlets of West Perry and East Perry. With its Sailing Club, Fishing Lodge and Residential Education Centre, it is the heart of the leisure and conservation activities on and around the lake. Visitors will find extensive parking with children's play areas, walking, cycling and wildlife watching facilities. A modern category 'C', Her Majesty’s Prison Littlehey, is discreetly situated on the south eastern boundary of the parish. The village is also home to an Anglian Water purification plant. Near the village green are the Wheatsheaf pub and the Perry store and post office. The Baptist Church and the Harbour View restaurant complete the amenities of this well kept community.
