Hail Weston
On the main road from St. Neots to Kimbolton is Hail Weston, a place that once achieved fame for the curative waters of its mineral springs. In the 17th Century people came here to be cured of skin diseases and sight disorders. Today this is a typical quiet farming village. The church, well restored in 1991, has a shingled spire, an early English font, a 15th Century screen and some 16th Century poppy-head bench ends. The village has one pub, which is thatched.
