Broughton

Tucked away in a secluded valley to the north-east of Huntingdon, the pleasant village of Broughton was once the site of the manor house of the Ramsey Abbots.  The house has long gone but the moat can still be seen.  Several interesting houses can be found in and around the village including White Hall Farm and a rather fine Jacobean house with Flemish gables.  On the Village Green stands the ancient lock-up, whilst in the church, above the chancel, is a rather splendid 'Last Judgement' painting.  Social amenities focus on the Village Hall and at the heart of the village is The Crown Inn.
