One of the problems that we face today is that people's fear of crime is very often much greater than the actual levels of crime suggest.  This is especially so in the case of older and vulnerable people, although they are the group who are actually least likely to become a victim of crime.

The Community Safety Team understands that reassuring people is very important.  We are happy to talk to individuals or groups regarding their concerns about crime and offer information and advice on reducing crime and keeping yourself and your property safe.
