The council works in partnership and supports a number of local and regional organisations to ensure comprehensive, expert services and facilities are available for all businesses in the area. In particular the council supports:
- Huntingdonshire Enterprise Agency (part of Cambridgeshire Enterprise Service), which gives advice to small and start-up businesses
- Business Link for Cambridgeshire, providing support for small and medium firms
- East of England International, encouraging regional inward investment
- Greater Cambridge Partnership, the regional economic development partnership covering the district
- East of England Development Agency, the central government regional economic development agency for Eastern England
- Town Centre Management Initiatives for Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots & Ramsey
Other economic partnerships the district council is part of include the Ramsey Area Partnership and the Huntingdonshire Learning Partnership. The Huntingdonshire Learning Partnership is a sub-group of the Huntingdonshire Strategic Partnership.
